At SKB Fishing Gear, we understand that sometimes fishing gear might not meet your expectations. We offer hassle-free returns for unused fishing tackle and gear. Simply return the items to us in their original packaging within 28 days of delivery, and we'll process your refund within 3-5 working days of receiving the item.  

 

How to Return Fishing Gear to SKB Fishing Gear  

 

Include a Note: Please include your order ID and reason for return. 

Pack it Securely: Ensure your fishing tackle, such as fly rods or bait casters, are securely packaged. The item must not be damaged during transit. Don't forget to include the Order ID to prevent delays in processing your refund. 

Arrange a Courier: We currently don't offer a returns service. Please contact a courier to return the item(s). 

Delivery Notification: We'll notify you once the goods arrive. We aim to process returns within 3-5 working days, so don't worry if you don't hear from us immediately.  

 

Conditions for Returning Fishing Tackle and Gear  

 

Items must be in original packaging and unused. If an item shows signs of use or is unsaleable, we'll inform you before returning it at your cost. 

 

Faulty Fishing Equipment 

 

Faulty items can be returned for repair, replacement, or refund with proof of purchase within 3 days of delivery. 

For returns after six months, evidence of fault at the time of sale is required. 

Wear and tear or environmental damage are not covered. 

 

Warranty and Faults  

 

Most fishing gear comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Faults within this period may be addressed via spares or repair. 

An exchange or refund is available within 28 days from the purchase date for faulty items. 

 

Returning Unused Fishing Gear 

 

Return new, unused items within 28 days at your cost with original packaging. Refunds exclude postage costs. Items with free postage will incur a delivery fee deduction. 

Special order items will incur a restocking fee.

Return Costs 

Returns are at the customer's expense unless faulty or sent in error. Authorisation is required for cost coverage. 

 

Use Royal Mail Tracked Returns for reimbursement eligibility. 

 

Returning Fishing Reels 

 

Remove all line/braid before returning reels. SKB Fishing Gear isn't liable for line loss during warranty claims.
